Gas cutting mainly includes several operation steps such as preparation before gas cutting, flame adjustment, gas cutting and cleaning after gas cutting. The gas cutting machine manufacturer explains the operation content and operation points of each step of using the gas cutting machine.
Clean up the oil stains and rust on the surface of the workpiece, and pad the workpiece to a certain height, leaving a certain gap under the workpiece to facilitate the blowing of slag. According to the requirements of the size and shape of the drawing, use the marking tool to draw the blanking line on the steel plate to be processed.
When adjusting the flame, first open the oxygen valve of the gas cutting machine in a small amount, and then open the acetylene valve in a small amount to spray the combustible gas mixture from the cutting torch. Then hold the middle of the cutting torch with your left hand, make the cutting nozzle face the human body, and light the cutting torch with your right hand , Then hold the cutting torch with your right hand and adjust the oxygen and acetylene valves to make the preheating flame a neutral flame.
After the preheating flame is adjusted to a neutral flame, the cutting oxygen can be repeatedly tested and the mixed gas regulating valve can be adjusted to ensure that the oxyacetylene flame can also be maintained as a neutral flame during the cutting process. At the same time, observing the shape of the cutting airflow (commonly known as the wind line) from different sides, it is required to be a uniform and clear cylindrical shape. Otherwise, the acetylene and oxygen should be turned off, and the cutting nozzle should be cleaned with a through needle until the standard cutting airflow is obtained.
After lighting the cutting torch and adjusting the flame, you can start cutting. Squat on one side of the workpiece with your feet in a figure eight shape, your right arm against your right knee, and your left arm between your legs, so that you can move during gas cutting. Whether it is standing or squatting, it is necessary to achieve a stable center of gravity, relax the arm muscles, breathe naturally, and level the cutting torch. The arms should move slowly or with the body according to the cutting speed. The main body of the cutting torch should be in line with the object to be cut. The upper plane is parallel.
Hold the torch handle with your right hand, and hold the preheating oxygen regulating valve with the thumb and index finger of your right hand (it is convenient to adjust the preheating flame energy rate, and it can cut off the preheating oxygen in time when backfire occurs), the thumb and index finger of the left hand Hold the cutting oxygen regulating valve (to facilitate the adjustment of the cutting oxygen), and the remaining three fingers of the left hand steadily hold the shooting straw to keep the cutting torch vertical to the workpiece.
After cutting to the end, close the cutting oxygen valve and raise the cutting torch at the same time. If you do not need to continue using it, first close the acetylene valve, and then close the mixed gas regulating valve. Then loosen the pressure regulating screw of the pressure reducer, and close the acetylene and oxygen cylinder valves. After the work is over, remove the cutting torch and pressure reducer, and keep them properly, coil up the acetylene and oxygen hoses, and clean up the work site.
