Mild steel wire for general purposes is one of the largest steel production in the breed, they have a diameter between 0.16 ~ 10mm. According to the surface state, it can be divided to glossy and galvanized two kinds.
Usually in the production of non-nail can use smooth wire, rod can be used mechanical descaling without coating. In the production of galvanized steel wire, due to the requirements of its high surface quality, usually rod by mechanical removal of the scales then it need picklied by acidic liquid and stained by coating of lime, it can be pull.
Because of its good plasticity small deformation resistance and small deformation resistance,the total reduction rate of mild steel wire can be obtained when pull large, up to about 95%.
General purpose mild steel wire in the middle should carry a heat treatment, common recrystallization annealing and widely used in continuous furnace annealing and pit furnace annealing in two ways.
