MAG (metal active-gas welding) is melting active gas welding for short. Melting active gas welding is a welding process. It is generally used to protect gas are: argon, helium, CO2 gas or mixed gas of these gases. The main advantage is that it can be easily MAG welding various locations. But also it has a welding speed, deposition rate and so on.
When MIG arc welding with argon or helium as a shielding gas called metal inert gas shielded arc welding (in the international community referred to as MIG welding). When an inert gas and an oxidizing gas (O2, CO2) mixed gas as shielding gas or CO2 gas or CO2 + O2 gas mixture to protect the air, collectively known as the melting polar active gas shielded arc welding (in the international community referred to as MAG welding) . Melting active gas shielded arc welding can be applied to most of the major metals, including carbon steel, alloy steel. Metal inert gas welding for stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium, copper, titanium, zirconium and nickel alloys. Using this method can also be arc welding spot welding.
